Job Summary
Prepare main dishes, salads, sandwiches, and desserts while working with recipe portion counts and basic kitchen equipment. Supervise student helpers if required and handle money. Maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and students. Obtain a Food Handlers Card upon hire. Bilingual Spanish preferred. This non-benefits position requires 3.75 hours per day for 182 days during the 2026-2027 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card upon date of hire
- Knowledge of methods and ability to prepare main dishes, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and other foods
- Work with recipe portion counts
- Basic kitchen utensils and equipment
- Ability to supervise student helpers if required
- Handle money
- Maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees
- Ability to get along well with students
Desired Qualifications
