Job Summary
Transport clean and dirty linens, deliver supplies, and dispose of trash while assisting Room Attendants with bed stripping and room maintenance. Handle incoming guest service calls and complete room requests, including delivering items like irons and extra linens. Maintain organized storage closets, conduct inventories, and keep floors clear of debris and hazardous conditions. Document lost and found items and report property damage or missing inventory to management. Requires regular attendance and adherence to safety procedures involving chemicals and personal protective equipment.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle and/or feel, reach with hands and/or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl, talk and/or hear
- Regularly lift 50 pounds or more with assistance
- Frequently lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
- Close vision
- Ability to use chemicals in accordance with directions
- Familiarity with material safety data sheets
- Ability to use PPE (personal protective equipment) as necessary
- Ability to practice safety procedures including bending, lifting and safe use of equipment
- Ability to follow safe procedures for protection against blood borne pathogens
- Ability to report hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to Management
- Ability to document, secure lost and found items and turn them into Lost & Found in accordance with Company policy
- Ability to communicate with guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Ability to complete the required form upon discovering any damage to property in hotel rooms or items missing from room inventory and submit them to Manager
