Job Summary
Risk Underwriter for US Risk Underwriting at Coface. Realize counterpart’s financial analysis based on information provided by infoline and sectorial/macroeconomic knowledge; approve credit limits with delegated authority; closely monitor portfolio to mitigate losses; inform and explain credit decisions to policyholders; support Commercial Team to retain existing business and develop new client relationships; liaise with Coface entities in other countries; perform industry reviews; develop relationships with credit managers and Brokers and liaise with Commercial, Information, Organization and Claims teams; may represent the company at client visits, prospects, brokers, industry events and conferences; requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance with MBA preferred and at least 5 years in financial analysis; hybrid work schedule to one of three US offices (Princeton, NJ; Hunt Valley, MD; New York, NY) with Flexplace schedule (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other discipline with financial, economical, insurance focus
- Four-year College degree in Finance and MBA is preferred
- Minimum 5 years in a financial analysis role
- Working knowledge of credit insurance industry is a plus
- Ability to gather and analyze information from various external/internal sources
- Ability to work a hybrid work schedule to one of our three offices (Princeton, NJ; Hunt Valley, MD; New York, NY) with Flexplace schedule (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
