Job Summary
Conduct daily valuation of Exchange Traded and OTC Products including derivatives, performing price verification to ensure financial instruments are correctly valued. Analyze and explain market data breaches against pre-determined thresholds and exercise seasoned judgment when valuation calls are required, ensuring audit trails are documented. Collaborate with Front Office, IAS, CRM, and MRM-Collateral Evaluation teams to resolve valuation issues and identify potential problems in the new product approval process. Initiate projects and process changes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of valuation procedures. Join the BOS MRM-Valuation team within OCBC Group to help build lasting value in the community.
Required Qualifications
- 2 or more years of relevant working experience in a product control/operations function
- Good University degree in quantitative discipline
- In depth understanding of financial and structured products
- Analytical, self-driven, a team player and able to work under tight timelines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with a functional programming language
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a functional programming language would be an advantage
