Job Summary
Respond to daily telephone calls and requests for ID cards, cancellations, payments, and reinstatements while processing transactions according to agency-defined workflows. Review and process mail, including incoming faxes, and distribute materials as needed. Act as a gatekeeper of information by escalating requests to Account Managers and assist in documenting client and carrier interactions by attaching files to EPIC. Prepare summaries and proposals to support Account Managers in sales efforts and communicate quotes regarding costs, consequences, and obligations. Obtain Property and Casualty State of Maine Insurance License within 90 days of employment and complete United Insurance's Onboarding and Training program. Maintain a positive team-oriented relationship with colleagues and adhere to company policies for workflow and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/equivalent
- Obtain Property and Casualty State of Maine Insurance License within 90 days of employment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Ability to multitask, organized, and time management skills
- Self-motivated
