Job Summary
Risk Operations Analyst at Xendit responsible for investigating merchant-related risk alerts, reviewing merchant requests for feature activations and channel changes, updating transaction privileges, and coordinating cross-functional investigations. Responsibilities include following SOPs to drive fraud and risk investigations from detection to closure, monitoring merchant performance to mitigate fraud and chargebacks, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to document and communicate decisions, and assessing merchant requests for enabling payment channels and limits with risk-based controls. Strong emphasis on independent judgment, clear documentation, and effective communication with stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Support, and Merchant Success. Familiarity with SQL and data exploration tools (Looker, Databricks, Splunk) and knowledge of payment products (Virtual accounts, QRIS, Cards, eWallet, BNPL) are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in risk management, fraud investigations, or fraud-related operations
- Understanding of risk concepts and experience with common risk metrics
- Ability to conduct basic data analysis and structure investigations methodically
- Ability to understand and follow SOPs and risk protocols
- Excellent communication skills and good English language skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear investigation summaries and communicate decisions to internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive cases from detection to closure with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to own tasks and drive to a conclusion
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
