Job Summary
Administer risk management programs and initiatives for XL Construction and affiliated entities by identifying, assessing, and mitigating corporate and project risks. Partner with project executives, superintendents, and leadership to develop operational tools, audit processes, and maintain risk registers. Support legal risk management through contract reviews, insurance claim negotiations, and dispute resolution while ensuring compliance with company procedures. Lead cross-departmental initiatives to optimize preconstruction, safety, and cost control, and develop training programs and best practices for project teams. Track claims histories to enhance policies and produce annual business plans, providing strategic planning and proactive mitigation opportunities to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree
- +/- 5-10 years industry experience
- Served in a Project Manager or higher operations position
- Risk related management role
- insurance background
- Skilled at reviewing and negotiating a wide-variety of construction contracts (Lump-Sum, CMAR, D/B, LLB, IPD)
