Job Summary
Risk Manager responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Risk and Valuation Framework in line with EU/Luxembourg regulatory requirements; operate the Permanent Risk Management Function; produce and enhance investment risk reporting covering VaR, liquidity risk, counterparty exposure, credit risk, concentration risk, and sustainability risk; monitor regulatory compliance and coordinate escalations; maintain Risk Profile Documents, Risk Management Policies, and related procedures; support new fund launches, prospectus changes, regulatory filings, and ongoing product governance; maintain Operational Risk Framework including RCSA, incident management, risk registers, KRIs, BCM and resilience reporting; review ICT, cyber security and outsourcing risks; support valuation oversight through Manco Valuation Committees, review stale prices, illiquid assets, pricing matters and NAV error cases; contribute to ICT and operational resilience oversight including outsourcing risks and cyber risk topics (e.g. DORA); prepare risk reporting for Management Committees, Lux Risk Committees and Boards; coordinate with regulators, auditors and internal control functions on risk-related matters and remediation; contribute to committee meetings with analyses, presentations and decision-useful risk insights; represent the Permanent Risk Management Function in interactions with Group stakeholders and cross-functional governance forums.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent
- CFA, CAIA, FRM (or similar) qualifications would be a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of the Manco business in Luxembourg and its various actors
- Ability to engage in good working relationships with a range of stakeholders including clients, internal teams, and service providers
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and written communication skills
- Autonomous, rigorous, result-oriented, and flexible
- Professional level of English (spoken and written) is a must; knowledge of French or German is a strong asset
- Excellent modelling skills in MS Excel as well as skills in Power Point and Word
- Previous exposure to Aladdin tool is an advantage
- Degree/qualification in Finance or Economics or equivalent
