Job Summary
Risk Manager to lead end-to-end construction risk management across multiple projects/programs, maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points, produce risk reports, conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule), develop risk management plans, and collaborate with program and project controls teams to optimize cost and schedule. Requires 8+ years in construction, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and strong communication/analytical skills; responsibilities include overseeing risk reviews, informing investment planning, integrating risk with cost/schedule management, and supporting disputes and contractual risk issues. On-site presence may change; role is full-time with a hybrid work arrangement in Las Vegas, NV.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years’ relevant experience within the construction industry
- Demonstrated experience within a Program Management or Program Controls environment
- Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification facilitation and techniques
- Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercials models and delivery methods
- Proficient in process mapping, root causes analysis, problem solving, and value-stream mapping
- Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau
