Job Summary
Lead the governance, maintenance, and execution of the group-wide Business Continuity Plan, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and managed. Develop and maintain an effective internal control framework that defines governance implementation, including policies, guidelines, and programs to promote transparency and consistency. Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business groups, influencing objectives and guiding issue identification, classification, and solution implementation. Represent the internal control governance program during internal and external regulatory audits, coordinate database management, and lead change management activities including readiness assessments and stakeholder engagement. Monitor, measure, and report on the status of the internal controls framework to internal and external stakeholders while developing tailored communication plans. Analyze data to provide insights, document compliance requirements, and recommend control enhancements to mitigate risks. Occasional weekend and evening availability required for critical testing and recovery exercises.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- equivalent combination of education and experience
