Job Summary
Serve as primary claims contact for internal stakeholders, insurance consultants, and carriers throughout the claim lifecycle from First Notice of Loss through closure. Manage and support claims across Workers' Compensation, Automobile Liability, Property, and General Liability lines, including injury reporting, compensability review, settlement strategy coordination, and loss runs analysis. Review policy language and coverage triggers to provide informed guidance to insureds and production teams. Maintain detailed claim documentation, ensure timely communication of status, and collaborate with Senior Management to coordinate safety inspections. Chair the Risk Performance/Safety Committee to review potential risks, strategize mitigants, and make recommendations to Executive Management. This role requires a Florida insurance license preference, ability to work weekends, and valid driver's license. Located in Winter Park, this full-time position offers $80,000-$100,000 annually with comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) matching.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty claims handling or claims advocacy (carrier, TPA, or agency)
- Working knowledge of Workers' Compensation, Auto Liability, Property, and General Liability claims
- Strong understanding of carrier claims processes, coverage analysis, and loss control principles
- Prior dealership experience
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Acceptable background and drug screening
