Job Summary
Strategic Analytics Associate in Risk Management responsible for developing and maintaining periodic analytics to illuminate emerging trends and the quality of originated accounts, understanding profitability drivers across the full account lifecycle, and supporting acquisition performance analysis. The role involves ad hoc analytics projects, enabling management with insights for strategy development, operational controls, and performance monitoring. Requires deep quantitative expertise, proficiency in SQL/SAS/Excel, and the ability to transform large data sets into actionable management information while communicating insights effectively.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree and minimum 5 years of experience in Risk Management or other quantitative fields required
- Background in business analytics, statistics, econometrics, or other quantitative fields required
- Advanced understanding of SQL, SAS, Excel, or other programming languages
- Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information
- Familiarity with risk analytic techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience delivering recommendations to management
