Job Summary
Manage MRGR server and technology asset lifecycle while coordinating compliance efforts with technology partners. Drive process engineering and software development for model risk technology, including building independent testing and efficiency tools. Coordinate data quality, entitlement governance, and access management initiatives by developing automated solutions for regulatory compliance processes. Identify opportunities to build intelligent solutions for MRGR data governance and assist in project management of regulatory deliverables. This role supports model reviewers and governance teams within JPMorgan Chase's global Model Risk Governance & Review team, focusing on model risk mitigation and technology innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with significant exposure to computer programming
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance or analytics platform development
- Proficiency in Python, with solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SDLC practices
- Strong communication skills to partner across functional areas
- Risk and control mindset with critical thinking and solution design skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with data governance and records management concepts
- Exposure to entitlement management, access governance, and role-based access control frameworks
- Experience with large data sets, data quality controls, and governed reporting
- Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Tornado, TypeScript, and React
- Proficiency with modern digital tools, including AI assistants and best practices for their use
