Job Summary
Senior-level risk and program leadership role leading Model Risk Management efforts, coordinating governance activities, and supporting CCAR-focused regulatory, audit, and capital-stress testing programs. Responsibilities include preparing materials for Risk Committees and Forums, leading model review and remediation prioritization, monitoring model risk metrics and escalations, centrally managing MRGR programs (including CCAR-related processes), and collaborating with Policy, Analytics, Product, and Technology teams to enhance model risk policy and procedures. Requires proven project/program management capabilities, strong understanding of risk frameworks and the Three Lines of Defense, stakeholder management, ability to synthesize data for senior audiences, and the capacity to operate in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include a degree in an analytical field (e.g., Business/Finance, Engineering, Mathematics) and experience in Model Risk Management.
Required Qualifications
- Proven project/program management capabilities
- Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and the Three Lines of Defense model in large organizations
- Experience working closely with model risk and/or model development functions
- Strong stakeholder management and teamwork skills
- Clear communication and effective relationship building
- Ability to synthesize data and build commentary for senior audiences
- Self-motivation and outstanding organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Intellectual curiosity with ability to learn quickly
