Job Summary
Lead Credit Officer - Vice President in the Leveraged Finance Credit Risk team within JPMorgan Chase's Commercial and Investment Bank. Identify key risk factors across an assigned portfolio in Sports and Entertainment; lead or participate in client due diligence; develop financing structures and prepare/review credit approval materials; review and negotiate legal documentation; ensure forward-looking risk ratings and proactive management of deteriorating credits; prepare quarterly financial snapshots and annual portfolio reviews for senior management; assist in training analysts and collaborate with middle office/data teams to ensure data accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 7 years of commercial/investment banking lending experience including extensive credit, structuring and marketing
- Advanced knowledge of financial statements and accounting; solid understanding of financial products, corporate finance, financial modeling and market dynamics
- Experience with documentation related to credit agreements
- Knowledge/experience of derivative products and documentation (including ISDA and CSA)
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to effectively present analysis and interact with key stakeholders
- Capability to perform due diligence and negotiation with clients
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a demanding environment managing multiple tasks at the same time
