Risk Management Intern (Next Level Internship)

Job Summary
Join Mekari's Risk Management team as a contract Risk Management Intern to implement ISO 31000-based enterprise risk management in a fast-growing SaaS company. You will document end-to-end business processes across multiple divisions through interviews with risk owners, support risk identification and control activities, help maintain the Enterprise Risk Register, and assist in ad-hoc risk assessments triggered by auditors, executives, or other divisions. You will report to the Risk Management Specialist and gain direct mentorship, exposure to cross-functional collaboration, and practical application of ISO 31000 in a SaaS environment. Location: Jakarta, Indonesia. This internship is open to final-year students or recent graduates (within 1 year) and requires strong English proficiency and Google Workspace skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must Have: Final-year S1 student or above, preferably in Accounting, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or Information Systems; Foundational knowledge of ISO 31000; Strong written and verbal English; Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets); Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders across levels
Desired Qualifications
- Final-year S1 student or above (preferably in Accounting, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or Information Systems) or alumnus within 1 year after graduation
- Foundational knowledge of ISO 31000 (risk identification, analysis, evaluation, and treatment)
- Strong written and verbal English
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 (Nice to Have)
- Relevant certifications or coursework (e.g., ISO 31000 Foundation, ERMCP, GRC-related courses)
- Prior exposure to SaaS or technology environments (Nice to Have)
- Experience or interest in risk management and enterprise risk processes
- Interest in documenting processes and supporting risk assessments
