Job Summary
Vice President in Risk Management - Multifamily Credit Risk evaluates and underwrites Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae conventional and small loan requests for multifamily assets nationwide, manages due diligence and deal teams, communicates with bankers, clients, and stakeholders, analyzes borrower structures and cash flows, drafts Transaction Approval Memos, presents to Credit Risk for loan approval, mentors junior officers, and contributes to platform improvements; requires CRE multifamily expertise and advanced Excel/Word skills, with experience in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac applications.
Required Qualifications
- BS or advanced degree with business focus
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate
- Significant CRE multifamily knowledge
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac applications
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a major corporate or commercial bank credit training program
- Experience with CLOSER (Commercial Loan Origination Securitization Enterprise Reporting)
- Significant CRE multifamily knowledge
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
