Job Summary
Conduct safety assessments, chair the Patient Safety Committee, and develop operational plans to reduce harm and increase care satisfaction. Perform routine audits of electronic medical records and E-Charts for patient safety concerns, quality of care, and documentation compliance. Coordinate root cause analyses, failure modes and effects analyses, and produce recurring occurrence reports while monitoring performance improvement outcomes. Classify risk severity, manage the Patient Satisfaction and Complaints process, and assist with staff training for the risk reporting database. Maintain strict confidentiality of legal cases, print medical records for claims, and handle general office duties including correspondence and supply management. Requires a current Texas RN license, Bachelor's degree, and 5 years of acute care experience. Full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.
Required Qualifications

- Master's degree
- Previous experience in acute care hospital
- Current Texas RN license
- Certification in Patient Safety
- 5 years of related experience
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, co-workers, physicians and other staff members
- Ability to react quickly to emergency situations, maintaining a calm confident manner
