Risk Management Coordinator

Job Summary
Design the Risk Management Program to control and minimize loss while protecting human, physical, and fiscal assets. Actively participate in performance improvement data collection, claims investigation, and litigation management. Facilitate safety data reporting, evaluate programs through trend analysis, and present findings to committees. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on problem resolution, cost containment, and implementing new policies and staff education initiatives. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare field, five years clinical experience, and preferred certifications such as ARM or CPHRM. Full-time day shift role at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field
- Five years clinical and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting
- minimum of two years of inpatient experience
- Experience in risk management and/or professional liability claims management
- knowledgeable about current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to facility
- Full Time employment status
- Days shift
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred
- Fellow or Diplomat of American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers
- Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)
- Five years clinical and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting which includes a minimum of two years of inpatient experience preferred
- Experience in risk management and/or professional liability claims management preferred
