Job Summary
Conduct deep-dive research, literature reviews, and analysis on climate, nature, and social risk topics affecting the firm's portfolio to produce intelligence reports for senior management. Apply financial risk management expertise to deliver cross-line of business projects assessing risk transmission across portfolios. Develop high-quality presentations and written materials for internal stakeholders and external disclosures while tracking regulatory deliverables and performing horizon scanning. Identify and pilot analytics and AI/GenAI use cases to enhance risk insights, partnering with stakeholders on governance and controls. Synthesize technical content for both internal and external audiences with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, public policy, or related field
- Experience in credit/counterparty and/or market risk management
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 plus years of experience in the financial services industry
- Master's degree
- Background in credit risk or financial risk management
- Knowledge of climate and environmental risk
- Familiarity with derivative products and enterprise risk management processes
- Experience in a climate-related role (i.e. climate consulting or research) working with financial institutions
- Familiarity with interpreting technical data and analytics
