Job Summary
Risk Management and Patient Safety Specialist RN sought for the Northern Region (Munster, IN and surrounding Franciscan locations). Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary reviews, investigating and resolving safety events, reviewing incident reports and malpractice case reviews, preparing leadership dashboards, educating staff on risk management and Just Culture, and collaborating with clinical leaders to design initiatives that reduce harm and improve patient outcomes. Requires Bachelor's in Nursing, RN licensure, 5+ years in healthcare operations/clinical experience and risk management or patient safety, with up to 50% travel. 1.0 FTE, days, Monday–Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 5 years Healthcare operations or Clinical Experience
- 5 years Healthcare Risk Management or Patient Safety
- Travel up to 50%
