Job Summary
Risk Divisional Lead providing administrative and operational support to the Risk Management Division; creates and updates Temenos workflows for the risk departments as needed; provides decisions and guidance to the collection team; resolves escalated member issues; reviews audit processes and regulations (Reg E, Z, DD, etc.); ensures department procedures are updated; identifies educational gaps and coordinates with Training to produce materials; provides backup support and adapts to fast-changing assignments; shares knowledge with the team to achieve Credit Union goals; interacts with members and internal customers to address inquiries and complaints; requires High School diploma or GED and 3 years’ experience in collections/consumer lending; frequent use of computers, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong written and spoken English; capable of creating manuals and procedural documentation; physical readiness for occasional lift up to 25 pounds; hybrid work environment; home-based employees must have a dedicated workspace with reliable internet.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED; three (3) years’ experience in collections, account protection or related position in consumer lending.
- Knowledge of computers; ability to type 40 words per minute; proficiency in Excel and Word; ability to create and deliver presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint; strong written and verbal English skills; ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, and government regulations; ability to write procedure manuals and business correspondence; ability to utilize system resources across departments; effective verbal communication with members and internal customers; problem definition, data collection, fact establishment, and drawing valid conclusions.
