Job Summary
Risk Controller role focused on ensuring integrity of risk data for external financial reporting (FR Y-14Q CCAR, SEC 10Q/K) and internal controls. Responsibilities include performing reconciliations, quality checks, independent reviews, and variance analysis; presenting control metrics to senior risk executives; driving process improvements; developing BI solutions to enhance data processing and analytics; collaborating with Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, Finance, Middle Office, and Technology; leveraging analytical skills to deliver high-quality results to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher with 7+ years of relevant experience in financial services or investment banking
- Experience in market risk analysis and reporting
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently
- Ability to convey information clearly and succinctly
- Understanding business drivers and requirements; influence partners; handle diverse tasks
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Python, Alteryx) is advantageous
Desired Qualifications
