Job Summary
Develop, conduct, and document technically detailed risk assessments of client locations (retail, habitational, offices, schools, healthcare excluding hospitals) to support underwriting decisions. Maintain a field presence with 20%–50% onsite travel, including long-distance and multi-night trips. Identify hazards, provide actionable risk-control recommendations to applicants/insured, and collaborate with underwriting, claims, and partners to apply risk-control products and services. Requires strong communication, credibility, and curiosity, with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and two years of relevant experience; valid driver’s license and applicable certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or one year of experience in safety, risk control/management, or a related field
- Valid driver's license
- Must have or be able to attain appropriate certification to meet state-specific requirements, where applicable
