Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments covering financial, operational, strategic, and safety hazards while designing and implementing the organization's enterprise risk management policies. Oversee end-to-end management of corporate claims including property damage, liability, workers' compensation, and cyber incidents, acting as the primary liaison with insurance brokers and legal counsel to negotiate coverage and settle disputes. Analyze claim trends to identify root causes and implement proactive loss-control programs, ensuring company operations comply with all local, state, and federal laws. Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors, develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans, and deliver risk awareness and compliance training programs for staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in corporate risk management or insurance, with preferred certifications such as CRM or FRM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- 5+ years of direct experience in corporate risk management, insurance management, or compliance
