Job Summary

Build and own Radiant's risk management function from the ground up, mapping exposure across all teams and entities while designing risk isolation strategies for multi-entity and GOCO structures. Own end-to-end insurance program design, procurement, and renewal for nuclear, property, and liability lines, optimizing coverage-to-exposure ratios to close gaps and eliminate redundant spend. Develop reporting frameworks and KPIs to quantify risk posture for leadership, the Board, and investors, partnering with Finance on contingency adequacy. Serve as the primary bridge between insurance brokers, legal, operations, IT, security, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance procedures remain audit-ready. Work closely with Regulatory Engineering and business development to proactively identify and remediate gaps in licensing requirements and new deployment contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, insurance brokerage, underwriting, or a related compliance discipline
  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience designing and procuring insurance programs across multiple lines of coverage
  • Experience structuring liability and risk isolation strategies across multiple legal entities (e.g., GOCO/COCO structures)
  • Experience quantifying risk exposure and developing contingency reserve recommendations, with working knowledge of relevant accounting principles (GAAP/statutory) as they apply to risk and insurance
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission
  • Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ

Desired Qualifications

  • experience in regulated, multi-entity, or government-contracting environments strongly preferred
  • familiarity with NRC requirements or other highly regulated licensing environments is a strong plus
