Job Summary
Lead the Second Line of Defense risk oversight and independent challenge across Getnet Platforms, advising executive stakeholders on strategic planning and business transformation. Oversee independent risk assessments for transformations, migrations, partnerships, and product launches while maintaining an enterprise-wide view of the risk profile. Consolidate insights from Technology, Cybersecurity, Financial Crime, Regulatory Compliance, Third-Party, and Operational Risk to provide an integrated Payments risk perspective. Coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives, oversee action plans from risk reviews and regulatory engagements, and represent Risk & Compliance in executive governance forums. Strengthen the risk framework, governance, reporting, and oversight practices aligned with business growth and regulatory expectations. Join the team in Madrid with 10+ years of experience in Risk Management within payments or financial services.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Risk Management or related control functions within the payments, banking or financial services industry
- Extensive experience working across the payments ecosystem, including payment and card processing, technology platforms and digital operating models
- Demonstrated experience engaging with Executive Committees, senior governance forums and C-level stakeholders
- Experience leading high-performing teams and developing talent within an international environment
- Degree-level education
- Recognised professional risk qualification or certification
- Professional fluency in English
- Professional fluency in Spanish
- Strong knowledge of enterprise, operational and technology risk management within payments or financial services
- Ability to assess risks arising from products, technology, operations, strategic initiatives and service delivery models
- Strong understanding of Second Line of Defense governance, oversight and independent challenge
- Ability to consolidate and interpret risk insights across specialist control functions
- Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to balance business objectives, innovation and prudent risk management
- Executive-level stakeholder management, governance and risk reporting capabilities
