Risk and Safety Manager

Job Summary
Oversee clinical risk management and patient safety across surgery centers. Develop and implement safety strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a subject matter expert to identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting patients and visitors. Partner with clinical leadership to promote a culture of safety and high-quality care. Responsibilities include leading patient safety programs for surgical operations; investigating adverse events and near misses; ensuring regulatory reporting adherence; conducting root cause analyses; providing consultation, training, and guidance to clinical teams; supporting grievance resolution related to safety; monitoring trends and recommending process improvements; and collaborating cross-functionally to strengthen safety practices and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Health and Safety, or related field)
- 3 - 5 years of experience in healthcare, including behavioral health risk management or related field, required
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a clinical role or clinical management preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Proficiency with electronic reporting and documentation systems related to risk management and patient safety
