Job Summary
Lead RWWA's risk and compliance function to enhance enterprise risk management, ownership and decision-making. Drive development and embedding of risk awareness across operational planning and change initiatives. Oversee risk identification, mitigation, reporting and assurance, develop and maintain risk registers and KRIs, and provide day-to-day leadership of the risk and compliance team to deliver risk outcomes for senior management and governance forums. Strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and balancing pragmatic risk management within a regulated environment. Offers hybrid work arrangements and a supportive, values-driven workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership aligned with RWWA values (Respect, Accountability, Connection, Excellence)
- Experience with enterprise risk management frameworks, including risk assessments, control assurance and risk reporting
- Experience in risk and/or compliance roles within a regulated or complex operating environment
- Advanced communication skills to influence senior leaders and support informed decision-making
- Experience supervising, coordinating or providing functional leadership to specialist roles or small teams
- Strong capability in preparing reporting documentation and analysis for senior management and governance forums
- Ability to balance assurance, pragmatism and collaboration in delivering risk outcomes
