Job Summary
Risk and Claims Manager responsible for overseeing a claims team in Loss Control, directing claims handling, analyzing historical and industry-wide trends to reduce risk exposure, and coordinating with TPAs and counsel. In-person full-time role at corporate headquarters with occasional trips to other locations. Leads process improvements, provides expert guidance on complex claims, and partners with safety, operations, and HR teams to design and measure loss-control programs; requires leadership experience, strong communication, and proficiency with databases (Power BI). Travel between offices and flexible hours including nights and weekends may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or related field
- 10 years of experience in commercial auto property damage and bodily injury claims
- 5 years direct claim team management experience
- Substantial experience with insurance principles and loss reduction and loss control
- Proficiency in databases and reporting (Power-BI)
- Ability to travel between offices and work flexible hours
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
- Must be able to read and speak English
