Job Summary
Risk Analyst role at Weitzman corporate office in the Uptown Dallas area. Responsibilities include administering insurance programs, contract review, coverage analysis, and renewal application submission; supporting Legal by analyzing and negotiating contractual insurance provisions; managing day-to-day insurance issues, updating insurance schedules, issuing certificates of insurance, handling invoicing and policies; coordinating with brokers, vendors, and lenders; reconciling invoicing with accounting; collecting renewal exposure data; maintaining insurance databases; interpreting insurance clauses in contracts and leases; explaining basic coverages to employees; ensuring contractual compliance of vendors and tenants; obtaining renewal data; and handling special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant corporate data analysis, insurance brokerage, reporting and/or risk identification/management experience
- Strong database management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
