Risk Analyst Intern (Part-Time 6 Month FTC)

Job Summary
A part-time 6-month fixed-term role based in Splend's Sydney CBD office within the Corporate Development and Risk team. You will contribute to live analysis, forecasting and reporting that informs board-level decisions, including claims modelling and forecasting of outstanding liabilities, analysis of risk factors, and creation of monthly performance reports. You’ll present insights to senior leadership, collaborate with operations to ensure data accuracy, and perform ad-hoc analyses. Ideal candidates are final-year students in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related quantitative fields with strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to translate numbers into a clear narrative for non-technical audiences; excellent organization and time management for a part-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Currently completing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative field (final year preferred)
