Job Summary
Administer the Association-wide credit administration tracker to ensure compliance with underwriting standards and loan covenants. Query the electronic loan file repository for outstanding credit administration items and review relevant loan files to interpret ongoing requirements. Work with staff to cure errors or conflicts with Association policy and regulatory mandates, while assisting management in identifying trends that indicate policy breakdowns or process inefficiencies. Support the development of new initiatives and policies, and administer the distressed loan program. Prepare reports for Executive Management and the Association's board. This role requires frequent interaction with customers, agribusiness, and departmental staff to ensure prudent credit administration practices are followed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, agricultural business/economics, business administration, or a related field
- three (3) or more years of experience in credit administration
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Sound judgment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- general computer operations
