Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager within Risk Advisory Services (RAS), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality internal audit and advisory engagements for a diverse range of clients, taking responsibility for leading defined engagements or workstreams, supporting engagement planning and delivery, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard in line with BDO methodology. You will collaborate with Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to effective delivery while developing junior team members and advancing your technical capability and leadership. The role balances engagement and portfolio management (roughly 50%) with hands-on audits and specialist assignments (roughly 50%), with travel to client sites as required. You will apply risk management, internal audit, and controls testing knowledge across various client environments, and pursue professional qualifications (e.g., CIA/CMIIA/MIIA, CCAB or equivalent) as part of your ongoing development. You will also engage with stakeholders, communicate effectively, and contribute ideas to enhance audit quality and ways of working, supported by a collaborative, development-focused culture and an emphasis on continuous learning, openness, and value creation for clients.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised professional qualification, or working towards one (e.g. CIA / CMIIA / MIIA, CCAB or equivalent)
