Job Summary
Risk Advisor is responsible for new insurance account production and sales activities within assigned accounts, conducting market research to educate, promote and sell insurance services, developing a profitable book of business, building an active pipeline through client referrals and marketing sources, and transitioning sold clients to the client service/account management team. The role requires a Life and Health License, consultative selling to educate clients, and strong communication and presentation skills; experience in Employee Benefits, relationship-building with Centers of Influence, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred. The position emphasizes leading with industry knowledge, maintaining a proactive sales plan, and delivering value through loss control and claims advocacy collaborations.
