Job Summary
Speech-language pathologist for a school-based program (Ringgold Elementary) responsible for screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and delivering therapeutic services to students with a range of disabilities. Develops and implements IEPs with individualized supports and strategies, aligns with Common Core standards, maintains state and national certifications (ASHA, ABESPA), and collaborates with school personnel, families, and district teams. Provides services in individual, small group, or classroom settings, oversees Medicaid documentation, and functions as a resource on assistive technology and related services while supporting parental involvement in the IEP process and professional training of staff and practicum students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology
- ASHA Certification
- ABESPA state certification
- IDEA knowledge and compliance
- IEP development experience
- School-based SLP experience preferred
