Job Summary
Operate equipment and tools safely to complete right of way mowing, assist with basic maintenance, and clean/prepare job sites. Report unsafe acts or conditions and communicate with management regarding supplies and equipment issues. Perform various physical duties including lifting up to 60 pounds while standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing consistently throughout the shift. This full-time position in West Virginia and Pennsylvania requires commercial mowing experience and offers $20+/hour with health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k). Training for Mine Surface, Safeland, and OSHA is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with commercial mowing and landscaping
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing consistently throughout shift
- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test, and background checks
- Ability to work in a labor oriented work environment
- Ability to work independently with/without supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with tractors, and agricultural machinery
- Ability to read/follow Google Earth-type maps to stay within property boundaries
- Possess or willingness to obtain Mine Surface Training, Safeland and/or OSHA
