Job Summary
Entry-level Right of Way Agent responsible for obtaining fee titles, easements, and securing property rights for Tierra's clients under supervision; conducts negotiations with property owners, reviews title documents, assists in appraisals, relocation, utility relocation, and property management; prepares legal descriptions, maps, and report writing; coordinates with agencies for permits and leases; requires high school diploma or equivalent, valid real estate license, driver's license, and ability to travel locally. Preferred Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years’ experience working in the right of way industry including experience reading plans, understanding legal descriptions, reading title reports, and negotiating with property owners
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid real estate license in the state of assignment
- Ability to pass a background check

- Must be able to understand direction and adhere to established procedures, have the ability to understand, remember and communicate routine, factual information; ability to complete routine forms, using existing form letters and/or conduct routine communication.
