Job Summary
The Rigging Manager is responsible for managing and executing rigging events, supervising and developing a team of Riggers, and ensuring compliance with safety and equipment standards. Key responsibilities include conducting field assessments, performing load calculations, reviewing equipment compliance, coordinating labor, and attending production site visits. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, over 4 years of rigging experience, 2 years of management experience, and familiarity with CAD software. This full-time position requires 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in rigging in either the entertainment, theatrical or production environment.
- 2+ years effectively managing rigging teams, preferably of 10+ Riggers.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers and leadership teams.
- 50% travel is required.
Desired Qualifications
- ETCP Arena or Theatre certification preferred.
- Qualified-Basic Rigging certification
- Lift certification
- Lift operation experience
- Working knowledge of CAD (Auto Sketch, VectorWorks, AutoCAD, LD Assistant or other) software.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
