Rigger

Conduct lifting and movement of heavy equipment and materials by inspecting all applicable rigging gear. Plan lifts using load weight, equipment capacity, and other relative information to ensure safe heavy load movement. Attach loads using slings, chains, cables, hooks, shackles, and related equipment while signaling operators with instructions during lifts. Requires 4+ years of Journeyman Rigger experience, successful NCCER Rigging assessment, ability to work at heights exceeding 300 ft, and possession of all required tools and reliable transportation.
