Rigger

Review next day's job assignments at the end of each shift. Assist the crane operator in equipment setup, maintenance, and proper rigging techniques to ensure safe load lifting. Utilize correct hand signals during all crane operations. Secure equipment to trailers, inspect vehicles, and complete truck inspection reports before driving. Report mechanical defects and missing inventory items to supervisors. Perform maintenance on chains, boomer, and straps, documenting all repairs. Monitor State inspections and license plates, reporting expiration dates one month in advance. Report completed tasks to the Dispatcher immediately. Requires 1-3 years of rigging experience and Advanced Rigger certification.
