Job Summary
Rigger assists the crane operator with rigging and setup, uses proper hand signals to ensure safe lifting of loads, and secures equipment to trailers. Responsibilities include reviewing next-day job assignments, maintaining crane and accessory equipment, inspecting and maintaining chains, booms, and straps, completing truck and trailer inspections, reporting defects, monitoring inventory, maintaining and documenting maintenance and repairs, and complying with all state and federal laws and safety/environmental policies on the job site. Requires 1-3 years of rigging experience and an Advanced Rigger certification; commercial driving experience is preferred.
