Job Summary
Assists the crane operator in equipment setup, maintenance, and proper rigging techniques to ensure safe load lifting. Utilizes hand signals during crane operations, secures equipment to trailers, and inspects vehicles before driving to job sites. Inspects trucks and trailers, reports mechanical defects, and monitors inventory of rigging gear. Cleans the cab and exterior of the vehicle daily, performs shop maintenance, and completes payroll timesheets by Monday morning. Reviews crane manuals and reports on annual state inspections.
Required Qualifications
- current state issued CDL Class A Driver's License
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of Heavy haul experience
- 1-3 years of rigging and commercial driving experience
