Job Summary
Rigger Driver responsible for local and out-of-town deliveries of high-value equipment, performing installation/removal and on-site demonstrations with a 5-ton truck. Requires a Valid Class 5 license, minimum 2 years’ commercial driving, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and strong customer-service skills. Responsible for accurate paperwork, safe driving, and representing the company during customer interactions. Flexible availability including weekends, with routes covering GTA to Northern Ontario; must navigate effectively and maintain professional appearance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver license – Clean Driver’s Abstract Required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience required
- Experience driving a 5-ton truck
- Criminal Record Background Check (background check required)
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. as needed
- Comfortable using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, power drills etc.
- Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, and self-motivated
- Highly customer focused with the ability to exceed expectations
- Strong navigational skills & excellent knowledge of local streets and highway system for the lower mainland Area
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experience handling high end commercial electronics (e.g., printers, copiers, bank machines) is an asset
- Ability to perform unpacking, assembly/disassembly, installation/removal and delivery of high-value equipment
- Interact directly with customers and provide functional demo of equipment
- Perform other general duties as assigned by Management
