Job Summary
Review and understand main contract terms and obligations to support the Project Manager. Contribute to the compilation and updating of the Project Opportunity and Risk Register. Attend weekly project team meetings and facilitate project bonds, guarantees, and insurances required by the Client contract. Provide vessel mobilization notifications and review vessel summary documents using Daily Project Reports. Support the Project Controller in tracking and forecasting costs within the Boskalis ERP system and BCR reporting. Identify goods and services for procurement in conjunction with the Project Manager and Subcontract Specialist to populate the Subcontract and Procurement Plan. You will work full-time (35 hours) in Aberdeen as part of the Project Delivery team.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years relevant work experience in a subsea/oil and gas commercial/contracts project environment
- Understanding of LOGIC and FIDIC contracting principles and has the ability to translate such contracts into subcontract arrangements
- Working knowledge in project execution
- Sound commercial understanding and the ability to apply these to project delivery
- Previous experience of cost tracking and forecasting
- University Degree preferred within Law, Business or Quantity Surveying qualification, or relevant experience as Commercial/Contracts Specialist
