Job Summary
Lead Specialty Sales efforts for organic potato starch, plant protein concentrates, and related ingredients in international B2B markets from Riga. Drive commercial strategy, customer collaboration, and cross-functional leadership with R&D to deliver sustainable solutions. Responsibilities include initiating customer projects, conducting technical proposals and demonstrations, developing 12-month sales forecasts, and managing complex negotiations with global customers. Requires experience in food ingredients, value-based selling, and key account management; must have a degree in Food Technology/related field and be fluent in English (Russian or German desirable); valid driver’s license and ability to travel. Travel independent; lead a team of 2 SM, 2 CS, 1 Technical Manager. Benefits include life/health insurance, performance-based bonus, and potential company car.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Food Technology, Food Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years in product development with significant commercial exposure
- Managerial commercial experience in the food ingredients or related B2B industries
- Direct sales responsibility is a strong advantage
- Fluency in English; Russian or German is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel independently
