Job Summary
Operate and monitor mechanical rides and attractions, including the train ride and carousel, while ensuring safety procedures are followed for both staff and guests. Provide friendly, professional service to Zoo guests by guiding, directing, and engaging them in a detailed and pleasant manner. Support two signature events, ZooBoo and Christmas at the Zoo, while maintaining a cooperative, team-oriented attitude. This part-time role offers flexible evening, weekend, and seasonal scheduling with a variable hourly rate of $13.00.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Record insurable through the Zoo's insurance
- Must enjoy working as a team
- Ability to work independently
