Ride Maintenance Assistant Department Manager

Job Summary
Assist in directing and supervising the Ride Maintenance Department; oversee inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and operational readiness of amusement rides and attractions throughout Lagoon Amusement Park. Provide leadership and support to Ride Maintenance Technicians and Crew Managers while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications, ASTM standards, and company safety policies. Coordinate with Operations, Safety, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical Services, and other departments; supervise scheduling, training, and performance of department team members; respond to ride malfunctions and emergencies; support ride setup projects and maintain accurate safety documentation. Act as Ride Maintenance Manager in absence, and promote safe work practices, teamwork, and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of mechanical maintenance experience required; amusement ride maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
