Job Summary
Associate in Credit Risk Management analyzes and challenges the performance of key business initiatives for Chase Card Services, delivering analytics and insights to inform credit risk decisions for co-brand portfolio conversion initiatives and new product features. You will partner across Risk, Product, Marketing, and Technology to balance portfolio performance with business objectives and to strengthen decision rules and monitoring. Responsibilities include leading and supporting end-to-end initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities, translating analysis into clear recommendations, preparing risk monitoring reports, supporting the risk management framework, and monitoring industry trends to improve risk processes. Strong skills in analytics, data mining, and presenting findings to senior leadership are required, with experience using SAS, SQL, Python, or Tableau.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Operations Research
- Minimum 1 year of experience in risk management or financial services
- Experience using at least one analytics tool such as SAS, SQL, Python, or Tableau, with coding experience in at least one
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex analysis into practical solutions and concise, executive-ready presentations
Desired Qualifications
