Job Summary
RHVAC Technician responsible for repairing refrigeration and HVAC mechanical/electrical systems across retail locations and ensuring product integrity. Duties include maintaining refrigeration/HVAC equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, communicating maintenance plans with Site Management, performing preventive maintenance checks, monitoring refrigerant usage, conducting refrigerant leak checks, participating in after-hours emergency on-call, maintaining安全 conditions in machine/electrical rooms, and assisting with troubleshooting and inventories. Requires EPA refrigerant handling certification, journeyman qualification or equivalent experience, valid US work authorization, and a high school diploma or equivalent; proficient in English with strong communication and customer-service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with rack systems, display cases and walk-ins preferred
- Journeyman qualified in refrigeration and HVAC systems, or equivalent work experience
- EPA certified for refrigerant handling class I & II, or universal
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration equipment, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems preferred
- Basic computer skills, Refrigeration Controller Technology, Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Demonstrated self-motivation and previous job responsibilities
- Strong troubleshooting and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask, work with limited supervision and make quick decisions
- Excellent interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- High standard of integrity and reliability
